Tweed Ride: The Founder

  

Eric Brewer, a DC resident, has worked on building community through bike rides that definitely do not include lycra. He's the founder of DC's Tweed Rides, started 3 years ago. I caught up with him at the end of this year's Tweed Ride in Lincoln Park. He was rounding up riders for the raffle. The winner, Laurie McGowan, walked away with--or rode away with--a cream-colored Linus Bicycle.

I'm not bitter. Honest.

And no, I didn't enter.
I can't do that when I'm there to report on an event. Not kosher.
Doesn't mean I can't be jealous. That's a super cute bike.
