..since WTOP aired our story on Erik Kugler's push to get more speed and red light cameras in the District in an attempt to create safer streets, there's been a lot of movement on his website--he's got 66 signatures.

I'm curious: what do you think? Ever gotten a ticket via camera? What was your reaction? Ever suspect the cameras might not be calibrated correctly? Or did you figure you were simply busted and should pay up? Are they nothing more than revenue raisers, or are they effective safety tools?
