It's time for the bi-ennial Zinneke Parade here in Brussels. Think Mardi Gras crossed with Mummers and the Belgian sense of the surreal all mixed together. This year's theme: the table. Hence the tablecloth motif for the posters, complete with the coffee ring stain on the programs and posters. The parade will thread along the streets that surround the historic and much-photographed Grand Place, or Grote Markt and afterwards, there are parties. But in Brussels, there's always a party somewhere.
